Kingsbridge Private Hospital, part of the 3fivetwo Group is proud to sponsor this years’ pantomime at the Grand Opera House - helping to support the arts and highlight health and wellbeing to over 80,000 people across Northern Ireland.
This year’s pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, features a star studded cast including the undisputed dame of panto, May McFettridge, former Emmerdale star, Lorraine Chase as the Wicked Fairy, Carabosse, Rhiannon Chesterman as Princess Beauty and panto regulars Paddy Jenkins as the King and Ciaran Nolan as Carabosse’s wicked side-kick, Slimeball.
This sponsorship forms part of numerous charity and community ventures that the 3fivetwo Group have supported throughout the year. The hospital’s involvement in this year’s pantomime aims to highlight health issues to families in Northern Ireland and also help support the Grand Opera House’s outreach work that they do in the local Northern Ireland community.
During this year’s performance, Kingsbridge Private Hospital’s very own mascot, Humpty Dumpty, will be making an onstage appearance with the cast. ‘Hug Me Humpty’ backpacks and chocolate lollies will be on sale throughout the pantomime season with funds helping to continue the local community work with children carried out by the Grand Opera House.
Part of the Grand Opera House’s work in the local community involves their experienced team of youth workers attending schools across Northern Ireland, helping them to build their confidence and teaching them the benefits of teamwork. Kingsbridge Private Hospital will be helping to educate children on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle by promoting health messages at the youth workshops. Kingsbridge Private Hospital mascot, Humpty Dumpty will also be making guest appearance at various workshops with some of this year’s cast!
Mark Regan, CEO of Kingsbridge Private Hospital said: “We are delighted to be supporting this year’s pantomime at the Grand Opera House. Bringing healthcare to centre stage and educating children and families on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle is extremely important to the 3fivetwo Group. As Northern Ireland’s leading private healthcare company, we are always keen to support local projects and we believe it is our social responsibility to continue supporting local community based projects such as those carried out by the Grand Opera House.”
Mr Regan continued, “For each piece of Humpty merchandise sold during the pantomime, we will be donating funds back to the Grand Opera House. Through our partnership with the Grand Opera House, we hope to continue educating families about healthcare in Northern Ireland and help the next generation of children lead healthier lifestyles.”
Humpty Dumpty will be making an appearance in each performance of Sleeping Beauty at the Grand Opera House from 30 November 2013 – 19 January 2014. Tickets can be booked on 028 9024 1919.
