Kingsbridge Go the Distance for Charity in 2025!
29th, Apr 2025

At Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group, we believe that teamwork, resilience, and compassion can change lives, and this spirit has truly shone through in our latest charity fundraising efforts.
This year, our dedicated colleagues have embarked on an incredible series of endurance challenges to support the Kingsbridge Foundation, Cancer Fund for Children, and NIPANC, Northern Ireland’s only pancreatic cancer charity.
The journey began with a splash on Saturday 12th April, when our enthusiastic teams competed in the Dragon Boat Race at Bryson Lagan Sports. Thanks to the incredible efforts and generous support from across the community, we helped raise an outstanding £40,000 for Cancer Fund for Children. Every stroke powered vital support services for young people and their family’s facing cancer across Northern Ireland.
But the momentum didn’t stop there. The baton was swiftly passed to our incredible marathon runners, relay teams and walkers, who are preparing to take on the Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 4th May. Every step will help raise essential funds for the Kingsbridge Foundation, ensuring that the support we offer continues to touch lives in meaningful ways. Funds raised through the Foundation will be distributed across several deserving charities, amplifying the impact even further.
And there’s even more to come!
Next up, Kingsbridge teams are gearing up for one of the most exciting and demanding events of the year, PedalThePeriphery 2025. From Friday 6th to Sunday 8th June, our cyclists will join others to complete an incredible 480-mile nonstop relay around Northern Ireland, all within just 48 hours!
Born in 2023, Pedal the Periphery has quickly become a major fixture on the Northern Ireland charity calendar, raising vital awareness and funds for NIPANC. This charity holds a special place in our hearts, founded by a group of individuals who have experienced first-hand the devastating impact of pancreatic cancer. Their mission to drive earlier diagnosis, better treatment, and stronger support services continues to inspire all of us.
At Kingsbridge, we are proud to be part of such a powerful movement of change. Every distance paddled, every marathon run, and every mile cycled brings hope and help to those who need it most.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has participated, supported, and donated. Your generosity really helps us to make a difference.
Follow our journey on our social pages (Facebook and Instagram) and stay tuned for updates as our teams push themselves to new limits for these incredible causes.
