Oh Yes He Will - May McFettridge fighting fit after knee operation
08th, Sep 2022
John Linehan, better known to most as the one and only May McFettridge is back on track for this year’s panto after having a knee replacement at Kingsbridge Private Hospital.
John made the decision to have private care after being told he would have to wait 10 months for an operation on the NHS. His career wouldn’t allow him to wait and with our help he has secured his unbroken 23-year panto run at the Belfast Grand Opera House.
John is now well on the road to recovery and feeling a lot better for it.
Catching up with John recently he said, “The pain in my knee was just getting worse and worse, and thankfully now since I have had surgery it is getting better and better. My knee has been really bad for the last 18 months, cracking and crunching, and trying to play golf or work was just a complete nightmare.”
“The price of private health care for your family every month is not much more than the price of a night out. In my book that’s no contest.”
“My experience of Kingsbridge has been so good I would trust them with my life.”
We’re extremely pleased to hear how well John is feeling and looking forwards to seeing him fighting fit at this year’s panto.
