Kingsbridge Kick Start MMA Athlete's Bid To Be Future World Champion

Undefeated Pro Mixed Martial Arts fighter Paul Hughes from Lavey in County Derry has just agreed a new sponsorship deal with Kingsbridge Private Hospital ahead of his Cage Warriors 116 fight against Scotsman Aidan Stephen in Manchester’s BEC Arena this weekend.
 
The 23-year-old who will fight at featherweight for the first time for Europe’s leading and longest-running pro MMA promotion, Cage Warriors has been getting the five-star treatment at Kingsbridge Private Hospital’s Sports Clinic in Belfast when he called by recently for his pre-fight ‘one stop shop’ health check. He said:
 
“A healthy body is a healthy mind and making sure I’m at the top of my game both physically and mentally is really important to me,” says Paul. “The guys at Kingsbridge have been great and their facilities and clinical expertise are second to none. They have been so supportive and organised my medicals including bloods and MRI scans.
 
“I’ve overcome some major challenges over the last few years with my hand injuries so to have such a reputable healthcare partner backing me is so encouraging and gives me real peace of mind.  I know I just have to lift the phone and the guys will help me if I ever need it”.
