Mr Ajay Pahuja is a full time Consultant Urological Surgeon in the BHSCT. He completed his graduation and post-graduation from reputed medical school KMC, Manipal (India).

Following this, he trained in Urology and renal transplantation in Mumbai for 3 years and then relocated to the UK to complete his Urological training in Northern Ireland. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal college of surgeons (urology) in 2008.

He is also extensively trained in diagnostic general urology, and general urological surgery including prostate cancer diagnosis, and endoscopic (telescopic) surgery for diseases such as bladder cancer, and benign prostatic enlargement causing urinary difficulties.  His subspecialty areas of expertise include BPH (TURP/Urolift/Rezum) and Renal stones (Laser treatment for stones).
