Registered Nurse - Outpatients

Job Summary

To actively participate in the provision of a high quality, effective and efficient Outpatient Service. You will be working in the generalised department with a variety of specialities, monitoring care and treatment for patients attending Consultations and procedures. The post holder will ensure that high standards of service and care are maintained in accordance with the Company ethos and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To set and maintain high standards of personalised patient care.
2. To comply with legislative and company policies and procedures.
3. Ability to develop and maintain policy and procedures.
4. Proactive in supporting senior staff.
5. Keep other departments informed of any changes in consultants clinics/ patients attending/change of circumstances.
6. Ability and willingness to keep up to date of new developments within a growing industry.
7. Ability to work in collaboration with other clinicians.
8. Awareness of governance issues that reflect safe practice and reduction of any potential risks.
9. Adherence to privacy, confidentiality, informed consent and security policies.
10. Ability to tailor communication to the patient needs.
11. Assist in the maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness within the Unit.
12. Ability to motivate and initiate change in others.
