Mr Stuart McGimpsey studied Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast and graduated with honours in 1998. He trained in General Ophthalmology at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

He has subspecialist training in vitreo-retinal surgery and macular diseases completing a one year vitreo-retinal fellowship in 2007 at Sydney Eye Hospital. He also works as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.
