Mr Andrew Harris ia a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, based primarily in the Belfast City Hospital. He also performs Emergency General Surgery in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Day Case Surgery in the Mater Infirmorum.

Mr Harris specialises in surgery for oesophageal and gastric Cancer, reflux, hiatal hernias, gallstones and inguinal hernias.

His advanced specialist Upper GI surgical training started in Northern Ireland, however this took him to world renowned centres for Bariatric (weight loss) and hiatal hernia surgery in Liverpool, UK and Pretoria, South Africa.
